Cathedral of Almeria is the centre of the old town area. Well worth the visit and paying to entrance fee of 5 euros and getting the talking guide. Lovely interior and well worth the money.

Beauty and history abound both inside and outside of this beautiful place. marvel at the buildings from the Plaza then enter the church and look at the rich wonders that call this place home.

Beautiful cathedral. We paid for headsets which gave us lots of information about the cathedral. Very amusing pronunciation of some of the English words, particularly as the voice was definitely British with no foreign accent. Suggest they should have checked how to say some of...More

Entry for senior citizens is €4.50, a saving of €1.You get a handset with an audio tour guide of the cathedral. The design of the cathedral to be suitable for defending by not having, by cathedral standards, high ceilings is explained. The structure is, nevertheless...More

A very peaceful setting inside and outside courtyard. Has an interesting collection of religious paintings and artifacts in side...More

You have to pay an entrance fee, which includes an audio guide. Those aged 65+ get in for a reduced rate. The cathedral is more like a castle from the outside. Worth visiting if you have time in Almeria.
