You pay to enter and get an audio tour. It’s a beautiful building, not what you’d expect inside from the outside. We found the commentary a little dry though so was easy to lose track of what was being said. I don’t regret going in,...More

At 5 euros each I was expecting so much more. The cloister is nice and the inside is the cathedral is pretty, but it’s very small with not very much to see. Probably one for the devout religious visitors. There’s an audio guide included in...More

We spent a good hour here with someone who knew the cathedral and history well. Very interesting and absorbing, especially the history of Catholicism in Spain. I would recommend an audio or local guide to get the best from your visit.

Reluctant partner accompanied me round the cathedral, beautiful, liked the commentary in English , not at all religious but still found interesting.

We had a wonderful visit to Almeria Cathedral. The entrance price included an audio guide in English which guided you around the cathedral and artworks.

Good guided talk of the Cathedral gives an insight into the struggles of the people of Almeria in the Civil War

Very interesting place , nice way to spend 1/2-1 hour. The entrance fee is €2.5 per person. You get an audio guide so you will get all the information need it.

We called at the Cathedral on a day trip to Almeria. As practicing catholics we wanted to pray and assumed that there would be a small area to be able to do this. We were told that if you ‘don’t pay, you don’t pray’. Of...More

This is a beautiful, well maintained cathedral. Contrary to other reviews I found the audio guide (included in entrance fee) terrible. It focused primarily on architecture and art with some reference to its place in the local religious hierarchy. It did not give much information,...More

It will be most honest to say, not really. There are some places where it is ramplike, and there are lots of stairs. I would not suggest this place for someone in a wheelchair.
