We spent time in this park on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. We enjoyed the open lawns, rolling ground, river views, and meandering paths. Best of all we loved being among the local people enjoying the out of doors.

The big size of this park is great for afternoon walks if you want to escape city life for a bit. You will find a few monuments, statues and small bridges. Nothing to fancy but very relaxing and peaceful

A lovely park, very clean and big enough to spend a whole day wandering. Features like the Romanisches haus and Goethe's Gartenhaus make it a little more interesting than an average park.

Well laid out, beautiful park. Great for walking, jogging, thinking, picnics and even yoga in the summer

One of the nicest parks in Germany I have seen, though we had a wonderful weather and that also has had an effect on the experience. A lot of interesting houses, mostly Goethe's Gardenhouse, its garden can be seen for free. Really lovely visit!

we didn't go in to the Goethe Gartenhaus but had a lovely walk (it was a really hot day) - great contrast to the town
