The place to be for the Christmas Market

Small enough to really have a feel of the history but large enough to have lots to look at or taste.

A cute town to take a stroll in, pretty squares and narrow streets. Nice cafes and shops in the old part of town. We enjoyed our stay here.

The centre of Weimar is very interesting with a wealth of beautiful buildings. It has a rather strange history too but the old architecture is outstanding.

A great place to enjoy oneself during the Christmas - New Year nightmarket. Plenty of traditional food and drink outlets, music and happy people in an atmospheric town square.

Quite honestly, I've seen more attractive market squares, but a good place for a sit down and a bite. As in most German cities, I was amazed at the amount of reconstruction that has taken place after the twin tragedies of the war and East...More
