Animals appeared shabby and not well looked after. Worst zoo I have been to- went as part of a large group and we all felt the same.

I came on a cold day so the African animals seemed kind of sad. The chimp in particular was sort of neurotically pitiful. And the cats in the small cages were kind of sad too. I am more used to the San Diego zoo that...More

I've never been to a zoo that failed to make me smile. I like the multilayered layout which helps make it feel larger than it is. The kids (10/14) enjoyed it as well.

I grew up here and have seen all the changes over the years - it is a very well kept area, with awesome information on the many beautiful animals. Plus: On top of its hill you'll have a nice view of the very green city.

Its a relatively small zoo situated in the middle of city but has good German delights..beer, restaurant, amenities for engagement of kids. Varieties of birds and other animals are interesting.

If you care for animals, do not go to this zoo. I stayed only ten minutes before I had to leave. The big cats attraction shows nothing short of animal cruelty. The cats were lying beside their own urine, and were either lethargic or pacing...More
