The center of town in a pedestrian area is well worth spending some time, especially at the centrally located wine bar.

The market looks like a nice place with interesting buildings and objects, but with all shops closed, there is not much going on.

I thought it was suspicious that the guy didn’t want to take the strawberries out of the plastic box. The lower layer was all rotten in both baskets. Be careful. I don’t trust any fruit here. Probably just bought at a discount supermarket.

This square with all the well preserved picturesque old buildings is a real heart of Trier. It is busy but never overcrowded, always enjoyable. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes and also public toilets at the square.
