This is the most popular and amazing place in the city. This is the place where the Christmas market is, where the people enjoy the sunny days and where the meeting place of Saturdays morning. Beautiful square!

This square is in the really old centre of Trier. As there was a market the square was very animated, as a consequence it was less enjoyable to see the nice buildings around the square.

The center of town in a pedestrian area is well worth spending some time, especially at the centrally located wine bar.

The market looks like a nice place with interesting buildings and objects, but with all shops closed, there is not much going on.

I thought it was suspicious that the guy didn’t want to take the strawberries out of the plastic box. The lower layer was all rotten in both baskets. Be careful. I don’t trust any fruit here. Probably just bought at a discount supermarket.

Walking distance from Port Nigra. Oldest market with plenty of places & shops to buy local souvenirs , sip wine or beer & relax. There is a spectacular market fountain . Clean rest rooms .

If you mean the regular week-market that one is on: Tuesdays and Thursdays at the 'Markt' (at the middle of the center) , or alternatively, on Saturdays on the 'Münsterplatz'. The christmas market can best be visited... More
