Great way to travel to and from the fortress. Purchased two combination tickets for a total of €28. Offered great 360 degree views of the town. Clean, organized, and not crowded. Was there around 4pm until close at 530pm. FYI the ticket is only good...More

What a way to travel! Top tip - each cable car is different. Some just have seats - but some have viewing panes downwards. It's possible to buy tickets also for the castle up above. Give about 2 hours for this. Lovely and new setup....More

We were really excited about the prospects of the cable car only to find out its closed every day, except for the weekends between the 5th of November (the day of our visit ☹️) & the 5th of April.

Worth the money you get a great view of the rivers and all going on around. Have your camera ready as you can also get some pretty good pictures. Watch out for bus parties arriving to get tickets, it can get pretty busy.

Got to admit the cable car which started meters from where we were docked was beautiful and the ride across to the cliff fortress very pleasant and slow enough to take in the view. But the Fortress which was never ever put under attack to...More

Lovely ride in Autumn sunshine up to the fortress and back. Had a short walk around up top but it was too late in the day to visit the fortress. We’ll go back another time to do that.
