At first sight this looks like just another rather ordinary statue. But beware! At random the mouth of the boy issues quite a long stream of water to catch the unwary.

This plain fountain occupies an out-of-the-way corner of a pedestrian (figuratively speaking) square. No water in January, so no spitting surprise = not of much interest.

Still nice to see even in the cold and wet. Always fun to see people surprised by the boys antics, especially on a windy day!!

this fountain of the spitting boy was unusual from most fountains we have seen. at certain intervals, the boy spits water, so beware. everyone got a good laugh when one person just wasn't paying attention.

Our tour guide led us to the spitting boy fountain. It's good for a laugh, even on a wet day. It's located near city hall.
