Et Kabuffke Killepitschstube is one of my go to bars in Dusseldorf, its a bar that serves one of the most evocative and distinctive drinks in this vibrant city namely Killepitsch.
I love the look of this bar ,set over two floors ,period decorative features ,its a bar full of character,its a bar that always seems to be busy ,every time I've visited and I've been here many times and it's always been packed and so it was on our latest visit.
We ordered our killepitsch and took them upstairs, we amazingly were able to grab a table were we savoured our delicious drinks.
For anyone not familiar with Killepitsch ,its a strong liqueur, blood red in colour, 42% ABV ,its a strong liqueur infused with fruits,berries and herbs ,its just a totally unique drink .
We really enjoyed our drinks in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time.
Et Kabuffke Killepitschstube is easy to locate along Flingerstraße.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Saturday, 11am till Midnight.
Sunday, 2pm till 10pm.
Well worth checking out if you're in the Altstadt of Dusseldorf.

Et Kabüffke Killipitschstube is a superb bar on Flinger Straße that serves a really good liquor called Killipitsch which is a fantastic local drink from Düsseldorf and is a superb place to visit even though it's a tourist trap but it's a good tourist trap.
This excellent tasting-room and bar has an amazing interior with ground and first floor seating areas with superb fixtures and lot's of interesting features relating to the liquor this tasting-room and bar is famous for.This bar as on every other occasion me and my twin brother have visited here has been so busy it took us a while to get served but it's worth the wait.
Et Kabüffke Killipitschstube was really busy when we where here and that's how we like pub's/bar's and restaurant's as there's an excellent atmosphere when places are full of people enjoying themselve's.On our visit we had a few Killipitsch which were brilliant and price wise what I thought we'd pay in a superb tasting-room and bar.
Et Kabüffke Killipitschstube is a really good tasting-room and bar in a superb area and very easy to find from Heinrich-Heine Allee U-Bahn stop its a short walk.(This is my first review of Et Kabüffke Killipitschstube).

Et Kabuffke Killepitschube is one of the most iconic bars in Dusseldorf, a bar that is about the most authentic and is famous for serving the famous Killepitsch liqueur so beloved by the people of Dusseldorf.
For anyone not familiar with Killepitsch, blood red in colour, a mix of herbs,berries, fruits and spices and weighing in at 42% ,in my opinion it's the most famous drink in Dusseldorf even more so than its famous Altbier's .
I love the story ( truth or myth, who care's, it's fun) is that while sheltering from a really heavy air raid during world war two Willi Busch promised to toast his friend Hans Muller Schlösser with this drink if they survived and today Killepitsch is still produced by the Busch family.
I love the look of this bar, set over two floors, great vintage decor and furnishings including a couple of paintings hanging from the walls and ceiling discoloured by age ,theres not that many seating options here so if you arrive after opening hours your more likely to be standing as this bar as its a firm favourite with the locals.
My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a Saturday night, bar was absolutely packed with a great atmosphere, we got a Killepitsch each and just chilled out and took in the great bar we were in.
The Killepitsch was superb,its such an iconic herbal liqueur, it's a drink that has a taste all of it's own.
We stayed here for two Killepitsch each before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time.
Et Kabuffke Killepitschube is easy to locate on Flinger Straße .
Opening hours are;
Monday to Saturday, 11am till 11pm.
Sunday, 2pm till 10pm.
A great bar offering a unique liquor, most definitely well worth checking out if your in the area.

This classic gemütlich bar is a good place to get acquainted with Killepitsch, the Düsseldorf liqueur with the funny name.
We got one for the two of us, which got us high enough.

Located off Altstadt, its a must visit bar. Congested but worth a visit. Very unique. They have a wide variety of drinks, especially on the liquer side as well. But main thing is to have the Killepitsch.

The story of how Killepitsch came to be, is only mirrored by how awesome Killepitsch tastes. This bar is without a doubt one of the most unique I have ever been to. So much history here. We sat upstairs for hours and had so much fun.....don't go home, until you come here !

Et kabuffke killepitschstube is a very small and cozy bar where you can order their homemade Killepitsch drink. Also lots of other alcoholic drinks. Just don’t ask them for soda :-) there eyes will get bigger and you get scared that you will be kicked out.

I have been here few times before. This time I brought few ppl never visited the place. They liked it a lot. The killepitsch drink which is their trademark was very nice. One of the bar tenders was a little rude. She offered one of my colleagues to sample a drink which he did. When we left the place they ran after us and called my friend a thief for not paying for a free sample they offered him even thought we paid over 50 euro for drinks there while being there for 45 min.

If they offer a sample they ahold tell us they are going to charge for it.

Other than that, the place worth the visit.
