After being dropped off by our tour bus next to the cathedral we took this tourist train ride around the old town. The commentary was useful and informative whilst the jolts and bumps are part of the charm of these rides. A good way to work...More

I love going on buses/trains around cities that provide me with a general information tour. While this tour did provide some local information, the bumpiness of the journey caused nausea and lower back pain with its constant thudding on every possible stone in Cologne. The...More

This is a cute little train and a great way to reach the zoo. I’d read reviews suggesting it was a death trap but I do think that’s a little extreme. However, if you are pregnant or have any back issues, avoid this tour!!! I...More

It is not that the tour itself has a problem - other than a really bumpy set of coaches, it is just there is noting to see! You can replicate the tour yourself by walking for 5 minutes from the Cathedral to the chocolate Museum....More

As we had planned to head to the zoo for the day, it seemed a waste of an opportunity not to jump on the fun little land train. It was an added bonus to find that they also play a sight seeing tour of the...More

It was nice to see this lovely little train still running in the freezing cold of December. Well worth going on a trip around the city.

This was a great means of transport we used on our 8 day holiday in Cologne and what a great way of not just getting to each Christmas market but to see some great districts of the city. Punctual and efficient and more importantly fun...More

We used this hop on/off train for €10 a day to get to 4 different Christmas markets. It was always on time and had information playing within the train so you got to know the area as you travelled to each place. Highly recommended!

What could be better than to go from market to market on this road train. It is regular, convenient and clean. Even at the busiest time at the markets, I was able to get on and off easily. Good commentary - but perhaps it could...More

We got this instead of the average Ubahn from the Zoo to the cathedral. It was fine, nothing amazingly shocking about it, found the driver was extremely rude and was too busy on a phone call to open the window so we could buy tickets....More

Maybe - if you could fold it down. But there is not a lot of space. The Trams would be a better option with young children.
