Visited the zoo while staying in cologne. Glad we did as the zoo and animal enclosures are very well kept and there is a really good selection of animals to see. The elephant enclosure is like something from jurasic park, incredible. €19.50 for the ticket...More

Highly recommended zoo. You need at least half a day to see most of it. Don’t miss the seals, specifically when being fed

We have been to several zoos abd I would rate this quite highly. The animal enclosures are well thought out and this give the animals a sense of freedom even though they are in captivity. The elephant enclosure is stunning and the animals seem very...More

We came here for the evening to see the Christmas light show. Really good fun. Good value for money. Very easy to get around, wheel chair friendly.

We loved the zoo. It was quite huge, with lots of animals to see, as well as birds and reptiles. Huge elephant enclosure where we could see the elephants from above - rolling, frolicking and going about their day. The Chimpz enclosure was also nice....More

This zoo had some really good enclosures but there was a fair bit of work being done to some others. A very good selection of animals and all seemed rather active unlike some zoos. Elephants and giraffes were incredible. Each enclosure has info on each...More

We managed to fit the Koelner Zoo into our Christmas Market trip and found it hugely worthwhile. Whilst the zoo itself is relatively small, and with birds making up a large area, the animals all seemed very happy, clean and healthy to a standard far...More

We couldn't go to all places as we started at 12:00 but it was awesome. Also you can enter the aquarium where there are also insects spiders and snakes (my favorite) with the same ticket 19.50 eur pp. Children until 4 are free.

It was very good quality of food at a very reasonable price. For two meals of cheeseburger and chips and two drinks we paid probably $20 or so.
