If you are in Kassel on a Wednesday or Sunday, you HAVE to see Wasserspiele. It's a great experience, even though they are renovating.

Is there a time of year when tourist sites in Europe AREN'T covered in scaffolding? It literally looked like EVERYTHING here was being built there were so many cranes and scaffolding and construction going on. The restoration timeline posted as you entered from the parking...More

You need to take a lot of stairs up to see the view. But it is worth it. The stairs are comfortable. Though there is a water way in between, i heard the water is in it on Sundays.

Designed some 3 centuries ago the Park and water arrangements are so unique that they were declared a UNESCO world cultural heritage a few years back. Cascades, aqueduct, waterfalls, fountains, just fantastic. The Wasserkuenste are...More

We had a nice stroll through the park with the family. Nice views, great forest and waterworks. We missed the actual fountains and waterfalls since this is only on sunday, monday and holidays around 15:00.
