Walking area in the city center good for shopping but also for taking a rest in one of coffee bars. Together with river bank makes nice city break destination.

The best place for shopping while in Frankfurt. Elegant street, crowdy, full of energy and smiling faces. The best firms of the world are here, dont miss the amazing MyZeil mall

As any other European bigger city, Frankfurt has too a long walking street with lots of coffee shops, restaurants and overpriced shops for naive tourists. The street itself is nicely planned, the trees are interesting, but nothing out of extraordinary. If you really have time...More

The Große Bockenheimer Straße is called Fressgass for a real Frankfurter. It hosts some nice bistros, is always busy, starts at the Alte Opera (Old Opera House) and has e.g. also the Frankfurt Apple Store as one more reason to come here.

This is right in the center of Frankfurt. A lot of shops and dinning outlets. Pedestrian only street.

As a first-timer going through this road in early spring, every plant, bush and tree was in bloom. With the afternoon sun, everyone was in a festive mood, and it showed: all terraces were full with revellers. What an atmosphere...!

There is not much to see waking here. Some nice restaurants, the Chinese general consulate, banks and commercial buildings. You probably will be stuck in traffic on this street, not even knowing it is the Grosse Bockenheimer.

This is a long street full of shops. Many are name brands found in every major city. I am not big into this type of shopping so it was just ok. Don't go if you don't want to shop.

Just some cafés and restaurants, shops are closed on Sundays.
