It seems that FEILER is more popular in Japan than in Germany, especially among older women. My wife was also wondering what to buy as a souvenir for herself on her trip to Germany, but after looking around, she ended up buying towels from here (they're reasonably priced, which is a relief!). I wonder if the fact that the designs are different from those sold in Japan and the prices are cheaper stimulates purchasing desire. It seems that it's also easy to shop because the staff are Japanese. When I came to Frankfurt in 2008, there was still a Mitsukoshi there, but now there are no more stores like that.

日本人だらけ

フェイラーが結構好きなのでFrankfurtにあるということで行ってみました。開店すぐくらいに行きましたが、日本人客が数組いました。私が店内にいる時間は日本人しか来ませんでした。ハンカチはかなり種類多くて迷います。購入したおまけということでポストカードやキャンディー、ミニポーチをいただきました。

スタッフも客も日本人

日本で人気のフェイラーの本店です。私が訪れたときは、スタッフも客も日本人だけでした。大きいサイズのハンカチが13.5ユーロくらいでした。日本よりだいぶ安いのでたくさん購入しました。お土産によいフランクフルトのレーマ広場柄のハンカチもありました。店内は広くゆったりとしています。一部、セール品もあり、そちらは11ユーロくらいでした。

残念な陳列方法で商品が見辛いです

スタッフさんに日本の方がいらっしゃいました。
お客さんは日本人しか見かけず、お客さんの数も少ないように感じました。

ハンカチを見に行きましたが、折りたたんで積み上げられていますので
どのようなデザインなのか確認するのに苦労しました。
頭よりも高い位置にも商品があります。
色違いを見たくても、積み上げられたハンカチとハンカチの間から引っ張り出すのは大変です。
スタッフさんは接客されていないにも関わらず、お手伝いもありませんでした。

品ぞろえも豊富ではないので、わざわざ行くような場所ではないと思います。
