The endless walk through this park, so extensive and with so much to see that you need a whole day to visit.

It's a very quiet place, and it should be visited. It has big gardens, including a Japanese one that is very beautiful. If the weather allows you, it's a very special place to visit.

Hamburg is generally green but a walk in Planten and Blomen is really special. Check out the Japanese tea ceremonies in the summer, the fountain display with lights and music and my personal favourite, the little herb garden. There are good connections to public transport...More

We enjoyed a lovely walk through the park which provided a welcome break from the bustling Christmas markets with its beautiful gardens, red squirrels, birds and vibrant plants.

Huge gardens and many fountains and waterfalls. There are various types of flowers and plants. There's also a water show in the evenings, a very soothing experience. Not the most creative fountain water displays, but definitely worth the visit. Meditative.

This is a nice water and plant park near the University of Hamburg botanical garden. There are pavers that allow you to cross the water stream. Overall it was very pleasant, even in November. The bottom pond was empty, though.

I was there in glorious autumn weather. It makes a good walk to pass through the gardens on way to the Convention Centre. The park is extensive, really well kept, and has what looks like a marvellous playground for children. A great find if you...More

Wonderful area to wander through - lots of interest including glasshouses and rose garden. We got tea in a genuine Japanese Tea House. All for free!
