WOW! What an anticlimax, what a disappointment. Firstly, there is absolutely nothing to see along the river except rusty embankments. Secondly the tour is only in German - only God knows exactly what he had interesting to talk about ... Thirdly, the member of staff with the beard who looked after the lower deck was exceptionally rude to passengers. Despite the 'cruise' being 40% full - we were not allowed to move from our table downstairs in the exceedingly hot 'conservatory' because apparently the boat was fully booked - we thought they must be picking up more passengers on the way - they didn't. When I asked for ice for my drink - he refused saying it's cold enough.... We are from the UK - at this tough time during a pandemic - you would think tourism would be welcomed and valued - apparently not. Do not waste your money or time on this rip-off.

Basically fine but not really interesting or memorable in any way. Everything is in German, so if you don't speak the language, it's even less interesting. There's nothing particularly noteworthy along the river (at least visually - not sure what we might have missed owing to language). They take all the relevant COVID precautions, so that's good. Bottom line: I wouldn't recommend it, even less so if you don't speak German.

Not so many tours in winter but boats do go from Vegasck towards Bremen por. The best time to tour this great river is during summer where one can go to Bremerhaven from Bremen and the tour is one of the best to enjoy the scenery on the banks of weser.

Took the tour August 28, 2019 and had no problem finding the location paying for the tour and boarding the boat. Very short tour for a beautiful warm day. I observed the one waitress taking orders for drinks. I decided late but walked up to the bar to buy a drink. I went to pay for the beer but the bartender refused my credit card saying they did not take cards. So feeling rejected and having no Euros I returned to my seat. The waitress later noticed that I did not have a drink and had observed me at the bar earlier. She quickly and politely asked me where was my drink. I explained to her that I had no Euros and that he/business did not except credit cards. She quickly escorted me to the bar and re-ordered my drink for me and pulled the credit card machine off the counter behind him so I could complete my purchase ??? So what was the problem the first time was the bartender having a bad day on my vacation?? This tour had no signs in English and tour was all in German. I was handed laminated paperwork explaining the tour in English??? I had no idea where to start and what I was looking at while reading the paperwork? Could they invest in the small language machine that other tours have at there disposal. This tour was nice but missing things??? Better customer service, language machines (not just German) and maybe Apple Pay. There is not much to do in the city of Bremen but the few things to do I would expect more? Otherwise get a train ticket and go to Hamburg.

From the interesting part of Schlachte several tours by boat. Took the port sightseeing tour. Very interesting to learn how some former port for loading and unloading ships for all over the world is being converted to a space to live with apartments and view onto the river.
