What sets Böttcherstraße apart from many other streets of old buildings is the many courtyards off the main thoroughfare with interesting features and artworks. Well worth taking the time for a walk, perhaps on way to or from the river.
Böttcherstrasse is one of many fine streets in the fairytale city of Bremen. You’ll find the famous bells (Glockenspiel) and the tourist office in this street, but apart from that it’s not a must-see. Schnoor Viertel is much more picturesque, sorry to say.
Strolling into this road rigourously with nose up will let you see the beauty of the Hanseatic city old building, and will be the coronation of your previous tour of the old square and Rathaus.

A charming little street with artists shops and restaurants plus the glockenspiel. You could simply take a short stroll up down the street, time your visit to hear the glockenspiel or enjoy a meal. Worth the time to visit.
