The Deutscher Dom is an impressive building which faces the Franzosischer Dom across the Gendarmenmarkt. The Deutscher Dom was built in the early 1800s as a church. The Dom was added later. The building was destroyed during WWII and not rebuilt until the 1980s. Today...More

Although this is still called the Deutscher Dom it isn't actually a church, unlike the similar looking building at the other end of the square. Inside here is an exhibition of the German Budestag. The exterior is more impressive than the interior, but there's no...More

The „deutscher Dom” contains an exhibition of democracy in Germany. It has a complete replica of the Bonn Bundestag and you can pretend to be a German parliamentarian. There are very useful leaflets on a number of the exhibition floors describing the contents of that...More

The Deutscher dom faces the tower of the French Dom, almost identical. Pretty building from the outside but it was locked and we could not get in.

This is a decent church, located in the central Gendarmen square. The church's exterior is far more impressive than its interiors. Having said that, it's still worth a 5-minute visit.

Beautiful building located at the Gendarmenmarkt square in the heart of Berlin. You can relax in one of the many cafes after your visit.
