This impressive 19th century statue is by the Spree River, near the St Nicholas Church. Lots of detail. The historic area around here is worth a wander.

Nearby the Museum Island, grab a coffee and enjoy the beauty of this fine work of art. Ir is huge. It is also near other museums like Nikolaikirch.

one of many sculptures dotted around this wonderful city. We stumbled across it whilst walking along the side of the River Spree. The detail is good and well worth a look. Along this walk there is a good selection of bars, pubs and restaurants.

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights
