My friend suggested we try this free tour. We didn't have any plans set for the day and three hours seemed generous so we were game for it. What we received in terms of information (and great exercise) from our guide Martin was far more...More

Did the free walking tour. Susan is very well versed in German and European history. Excellent insights and interpretations to various important sights. Strongly recommend doing this tour to get your bearings around the fantastic city of Berlin. Just one thing Susan if you read...More

We did the free tour with Sadie, and she was absolutely brilliant: she was thoroughly well-informed was able to share the history and answer people's questions with an easy going storytelling style. Her approach had humanity and historical perspective more than any other tour I've...More

I was participating on tour Third Reich. Instead of Third Reich stuff the tour visited only on memorials made after nazi regime. Quite disappointing yet the guide Martin has great knowledge and clear voice. Title should be changed as "Memorial tour".

This was my first Sandeman's tour, and because of it, I have taken two more since! Susan was funny, insightful, and full of fun facts about her adopted city. Instead of just taking the group around to see landmarks, like some other walking tours I've...More

like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum
Island. The central location makes this one of the
city's most expensive places to live. It is here the
oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence
of some significant transformations, as well. The
gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets
between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given

Hi Robin. I booked mine through the hostel I was staying in. I don't unfortunately have any contact information. These tours are generally not too overbooked. Enjoy.
