If you're passionate about the German world war history and what really happened in that period and area, then you must visit this museum, where there's so much to discover. Audio guides are highly recommended in this huge place (38 rooms distributed on 3 floors).

A fabulous insight into WW2 life in a bunker/bomb shelter, with the Berlin Story and look at the life story of Hitler and his rise and fall. In depth presentations that deserve a good few hours to view. Excellent museums and good value for money....More

Not to be confused with the Story of Berlin Museum (which is across town). This museum is housed in a bunker which was novel and it displayed plenty about the city. The audio commentary on the free headphones helped but it felt like rather a...More

Great place for kids, indeed big school groups were here when we visited. Come and learn the entire history of the city and region. Well-curated.

Located in a WWII bunker, this museum was a great introduction to the history of Berlin and Germany. I would view the video first before exploring the museum.

In this amazing museum, in a real life second world war bunker, I found the most amazing exhibition on Hitler's life: from his very early childhood to his death at the Berlin bunker. Tons of information, take your time; it is worth it.

In easy reach of Potsdamer Platz, a 10 minute walk north. The previews declared some historians said this was one of the best exhibitions on Hitler, and I agree. From his birth to death there is a huge amount of detail including never been seen...More

The video at the end summarized everything much better than the whole Museum. It is too packed with information and lacking in some details or overall picture that one just cant imagine/place the history. That being said, the video at the end was good. The...More

You can do both on a combined ticket or just choose one or the other. We did both and spent around 3 hours wandering the bunker listening to the audio guide. (Included in ticket price). If you don't know the history of Berlin then worth...More

Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can
both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central
neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the
1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around
Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s,
rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a
carefree life here. An old hospital even became a
hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today
