Completely different to English Zoos. There don't seem to be massive imposing fences around the animal enclosures, almost giving it a safari feel. This was a touch unsettling when the Hyenas started stalking me 😂. Elephant feeding time was brilliant and to see them so...More

A huge park in the middle of Berlin, close to major sights (Brandenburg Gate, Potsdammer Platz, City zoo). A great place to walk, relax, have a picnic and enjoy these forests and greenery. During the fall - it provides a beautiful foliage colors.

This area is great for a walk around the city area. We started at the Brandenburg Gate and walked through the park towards the Zoo. It is lovely and peaceful and there are numerous things to see

I was in winter and I find it out to be very nice. I think in summer is a very romantic park, where you can walk with your love.

The Tiergarten is huge and just on the very outskirts of the city centre near to the Brandeburg Gate. It was a nice peaceful walk away from the big city. There are many paths and ponds and plenty of places to sit and relax.

A lovely place to take a picnic or simply walk away from the bustle of the city. We saw many locals using it, although it was late November.

Wandered through the Tiergarten and enjoyed it (apart from the lunatic cyclists whizzing past at high speed). Nice atmosphere, peaceful and relaxing on a cold, crisp day.
