One of my personal favourite place in Berlin. This place sets the tone for the city. You can even see some wild animals out there.

Large open garden in the middle of the city. You can spend the whole day in the shades specifically if it’s hot. The garden is well kept and located close to a lot of historical spots.

The Tiergarten was the hunting grounds for the nobles, so it is huge and parts are very wild. I like seeing large areas that are not manicured, and have dirt paths. We bicycled through several hundred meters of the Tiergarten and truly enjoyed it. Had...More

The park was green when we visited Berlin briefly in August. We only walked through part of it but enjoyed the near solitude. The dense trees allows you to feel apart from everyone and everything. Fantastic grit paths for running in the shade.

We walked around part of the Tiergarten after visiting the Brandenburg Gate as its only a short walk from there. It really is a large park so we didn't get a chance to see everything but it was a good place to relax and take...More

Nice to have so much green space in the city - get out and enjoy it! Loved the way it feels miles away from everywhere but you remain close to roads and monuments.

Take a walk or hire a bike to go through this fantastic and huge park, the café is also good for a stop lunch.

Beautiful green space near the Brandenburg Gate. Very large area which was easy walking, with many paths and small ponds and seating. Really nice place to be when the temperature is high.

A very big garden easily accesible by train and metro. There are some beautiful spots, like the Neuen Biergarten where you can eat, drink and rent a little boat. There is also the English garden otherwise in summer the park is brown. Huge part of...More

Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through
the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which
lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood.
Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city:
upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades
and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone
streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through
little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop

This park is divided up by 4 roads with the Victory cross taking centre stage, you won't be disappointed there are boards up to tell you where you are and a list of what's in each section , there is even an English garden... More
