    Beautiful gate. It's impressive
Such an old and stately monument. Also with the historical events. It is one of the many historic buildings in Berlin. Standing tall and proud, these statues are a reminder of the strength and resilience of the German people. They are a symbol of hope and freedom, and a reminder that no matter what life throws at us, we can overcome it.

Very cool to see in real life
The Gate is a real magnet for tourists. It’s set in a really nice area with impressive building around, but it’s the iconic Brandenburg Gate that we have all seen on TV and in movies that everyone wanted to photograph. Definitely a “must do” in Berlin

    Impressive piece of history.
Very impressive gate & glad I saw it in real life. It is a very, very crowded tourist spot but that doesn't stop all the cyclists flying through the at speed so keep your eyes open! Tourist information is right next to the gate which is handy. There are lots of embassies through it & it was fun flag spotting. We spent about half an hour here.

So many things to do close to here, it’s well worth a trip.
Took my son to Berlin for the weekend and although we came to see the gates, we probably ended up here indirectly many many more times as there are so many things and sights close by. The gates themselves are so impressive, and it’s worth looking into the history of the gates and their involvement in the Berlin Wall. Not related to history, there is a nice dunkin donut nearby which is perfect for coffee and opposite that is an official building with a toilet that is accessible to all but you need a coin to access. We probably paid these places the most visits during our weekend as it was right by the exit from the underground transport system.

The Brandenburg Gate is what it is. But majestic.
The Brandenburg Gate is the Brandenburg Gate. You've seen the pictures of it and read about it, seeing it is just the next step. It is as spectacular as you thought. It is just very busy and is hard to get the perfect picture without a few dozen other people in shot. At dusk, with the sun setting over the gate, was a nice time to visit. I felt a compelling desire to touch the gate.

    A must!
An emotional visit to this iconic Tor. Not to be missed to appreciate the freedom we enjoy. Nearby memorials to various groups of victims of the war and the Berlin Wall era are also worth a visit.

    Brandenburg Gate
A iconic symbol of history.. Very touristy but nice, Plenty of places to eat and drink near by , Where I found a lovely bakerie where they sold Cakes/Sandwiches & Hot/Cold drinks. It`s situated on sort of the main rd but it has plenty of space to walk around it, Also there are guides that will tell you all about it plus other interesting stuff about other nearby attractions..For a price.. The S and U bahn train station is very nearby as well..Plenty of seats to have a rest as well..

An iconic important piece of history in Berlin
This is a must when in Berlin. Our walking tour meet point was here. The area is bustling with activity and I’d you engage in a walking tour you will have the full history of Brandenburg Gate which is essential to fully appreciate it.

    Iconic symbol of Germany
We took photos of the Gate at 3 different times. We had a daytime photo, which helped to see the details of the statue. That was tough since there were so many people. We took one at night for the Festival of Lights. It was tough to see the details in the amazing statue on top though. The best one by far was one at dusk. The sky was a deep blue, and the statue popped out with the blue background, so that was our favorite time of the day. This was less crowded at this time. This iconic symbol of Germany was made even more amazing at the Festival of Lights. The show had a light show / video projecting on the gate and set to music. The show at this stop was the best of all the Lights. If you have a chance to be in Berlin during this festival in Oct, make sure this is on the top of your list. If it’s not during the festival, then coming here at dusk will not disappoint.

Even with a packed schedule, I had to see the Brandenburg Gate. It's way more imposing in person! The sheer size and detail of the design are architecturally stunning. It's incredible how well-preserved it is considering its age and history. Definitely worth dodging tourists for a quick photo op!

The monument is incredibly well-preserved and truly awe-inspiring in person. Its central location makes it easily accessible by public transportation and within walking distance of many other major sights. We highly recommend visiting at both day and night for the full effect, and be sure to bring your camera - it's incredibly photogenic!

We couldn't stop snapping photos - every angle is postcard-worthy. The details are incredible up close, and it's even more impressive knowing its history. Plus, posing for a goofy photo with your honey? Priceless!

Centrally located, the Brandenburg Gate is an imposing landmark you can't miss! Its history is as captivating as its architecture. We loved grabbing a pretzel and admiring the intricate details while soaking up the atmosphere of this iconic spot.
Definitely worth a visit!
