This place goes on forever!! We got totally lost in it looking at all the historical decorations and then being shunted into the STORE where you could spend thousands of Euros on all sorts of Christmas stuff!!

You must to see. Most pretty shop I have ever seen. I have read a reviews before my visit so I expected a nice shop but I was really amazed by reality.

Unfortunately, the museum...More

This is a wonderful record of Christmas - German style and the rest of the world. Fascinating exhibits that revealed many secrets of the evolution of this festive period every year. Well worth the entry fee

Note: The 3* is for the museum itself, the shop is a definite 5*. The museum has an added cost to the shop it resides in and takes maybe 30 minutes to walk through. It describes Christmas customs and has many examples linked to them....More

As we were wending our way through Germany, this was such a pleasant change of pace after so many churches and historic sites. We were met at the door by a giant nutcracker! The displays of everything Christmas are nicely presented in slightly tight rooms....More

I've never seen anything so Christmassy....in March! From the moment you step inside you are engulfed in a magical world. The only minor negative was how very expensive everything was. but you are not forced into buying anything.

While visiting Kathe Wohlfarht is an experience in itself, but it’s worth a couple of Euros to go upstairs into the Christmas Museum to see the history of Christmas traditions. Photos not allowed...

The museum has many Christmas decorations with over hundreds years of history. Very interesting to walk and it’s only EUR 4 for an adult entry.

We paid the €4 as it was summertime and the city was busy. The museum was quiet though and we enjoyed seeing all the old decorations. It was enjoyable.
