This place is one of the best locations in the town and is perfect for taking pictures in the medieval settings. Just across this gate you can see the full view of the whole town with all the greenry.

We were travelling from Czech republic to France and decided to stop here. Beautiful town, it could be the prototype of German old towns that you have in your mind. We spent there 3 hours, enough to walk the town and have lunch.

Rothenburg is a living fairy tale town. You can have hours of fun just walking around admiring the building going back hundreds of years. Stop at the many caffees and have a cup of coffee while enjoying people watching.
