This town epitomizes the old world look of Germany. Yes, it is crowded, even in September, but it is still a must-see. We spent all day there (including the Night Watchman tour).

The old town was such a great place to visit. Small yet quite tourist heavy place. I was happy with my visit and had a good time there. I got some lovely photos as well.

In this quaint village. The buildings are spectacular you feel like you are in a postcard of Germany. The town is known for it's Christmas decorations. Stop at a bakery and try their famous dessert called "snowballs"

A wonderful Mid-Evil city with beautiful old buildings and sites. The Knight Watchman tour is free and a lot of fun to follow the history of the gem of Europe.

Lucky you - a lovely trip. On a rough line from Munich to Cologne, I'd suggest Ulm, Heidelberg and Bernkastel. Ulm for its buildings and cathedral, Heidelberg for the Castle and old town, and Bernkastel for the charming old... More
