Amazing and a great view, however not for people with vertigo and it is best avoided to go up there at full hours, the bells make the wooden stairs shake

Very beautiful view over Augsburg after a hard climb. After a narrow ascent, 258 steps reach the highest point, just below the bells of the tower. From there you have a great view over the whole city, with good weather up to the Alps.

As you climb the narrow stairs, you see pictures of the WW2 bombed out buildings and next to them the beautifully refurbished ones of today. Great for history buffs and everyone else.
