This palace is something to be seen. From the outside you would not know what awaits you on the inside. Ask for the audio guide or personal guide to get all the details about the palace and it’s rooms.

Every castle is a eye catcher and amazing. I love the doors, the chandeliers, the rod iron stairway bannister and the beautiful reception or was it dance hall...great! The mirrors, the lamps...everything.

be warned that the outstanding paintings are at the very end of the exhibits so leave time for them. These are the Durers Holbeins etc in the Katerhine Church a separate building connected to the palace. The earlier rooms ontain other collections of well known...More

beautiful building with a lot of rooms and paintings. On the 2nd floor there was a very interesting temporary exhibition about Russia. I would highly recommend to visit.

If you want to see as many Rococo masterpieces as possible, don't miss the ballroom at this palace. The rest is mostly mediocre art except for a nice Durer portrait. The ballroom makes it all worthwhile if you appreciate the style.
