Beautiful castle on top of the hill. The museum inside is worth to visit. Also a beautiful view of the city.

Last year I brought my youngest and we visited but did not see everything because we wanted another family member to visit with us. This year my wife was with us and it was perfect. We spent 2 hours visiting this place. I would recommend...More

The caste is the first sight you get to see into arrival in Nuremberg as it’s across the street from the train station. Worth a visit lots of little shops and restaurants and cafes inside and most importantly free of charge to enter and have...More

Under renovations but you can see the strength of the fortress and the views of the city. We did not go inside due to time constraints but will go next time.

We are castle lovers and enjoyed our visit to Kaiserburg Nurnberg. Our visit started with a visit to the deep well just outside the castle, then into the castle with a self-guided tour. The displays were very well done and interior spaces well preserved. Excellent...More

Visiting the castle was quite fascinating. The stories, myths, makes the walk interesting. There were quite some construction going on in and at the castle. We did not go in but walked on the outside.

Impressive castle overlooking Nurnberg, much of it is under repair. The self- guided tour isn't as good as the previous guided tours, but I guess that is progress. Most of the interactive displays appear to be oriented for children, but overall an interesting visit.

... and therefore a bit of a disappointment. No photograph could be taken without a carne etc, bit of a pity but looks wonderful from the outside.

The castle was a not our main destination in Nuremberg, but we enjoyed it. The museum was interesting, the grounds are nicely recreated, and the audio guide was worth the 2€. We didn't wait around for the well viewing (it is only on at the...More

There are several car parks in and around the center of Nürnberg and within walking distance of the castle. They would be your best bet since street parking is fairly restrictive.
