A beautiful and historic place with wonderful architecture and little gems all over the place especially within the old city! Well worth a visit!

The castle itself is quite nice and has great views of Nuremberg. We went inside the walls of the castle and walked around the grounds, but did not go inside any of the buildings inside the castle due to time constraints, still completely worth it.

A complex structure dating from the 12 century by Emperor Fredrick Barbarossa, Wonderful view from the tower over the Altstadt. Spend time here but also take equal time to explore the wonderful town within the old walls

Unfortunately, we were unable to spend much time so this time, we could only take in a quick overview of the castle that leaves you with a feeling of being in a long-ago century.

Dominating the city skyline, you can miss the place. At the time of the Holy Roman Empire, it was home to each of the emperors and was one of the most important royal places. The sights include the new castle museum, the palace with the...More

This castle can be done on your own but a knowledgeable tour guide can add significant insights into the history of the location, it’s impotence and the people who governed here. A must see if you visit the city.

We all know that this area is well known for the Christmas market, but the truth is that during sunny days it is with the visit. Bring confortable clothes and shoes.

If you enter the exhibition inside, it's a lot about gold, and medieval weapons. The castle itself has great spots for pictures with a great view of the city, so it's worth climbing a few stairs in any case. Lots of restaurants nearby. Definitely worth...More

There are several car parks in and around the center of Nürnberg and within walking distance of the castle. They would be your best bet since street parking is fairly restrictive.
