Last year I brought my youngest and we visited but did not see everything because we wanted another family member to visit with us. This year my wife was with us and it was perfect. We spent 2 hours visiting this place. I would recommend...More
The caste is the first sight you get to see into arrival in Nuremberg as it’s across the street from the train station. Worth a visit lots of little shops and restaurants and cafes inside and most importantly free of charge to enter and have...More
We are castle lovers and enjoyed our visit to Kaiserburg Nurnberg. Our visit started with a visit to the deep well just outside the castle, then into the castle with a self-guided tour. The displays were very well done and interior spaces well preserved. Excellent...More

It comes down to have you been to another Germany old town? If not, then it is a yes. If you have and enjoyed the other one, then I would go. If you do like seeing old buildings/walls or moats, then do not go. I like old buildings and places so it was a yes for me. We saw over 6 old towns in a 7 day period. I like them all. Each had a little difference. I am not saying that it is a full day but a few hours and see where it goes from there.
