Like any other church in Munich, it's beautiful and also historic. It looks small from the outside, but the inside is really spacious. For those who are travelling and looking for Catholic Sunday mass in English, you can come at 4PM.

The street level chapel is simple but lovely. There is a small museum in back. The burial site for Fr. Rupert Mayer is on this level. Upstairs is a very ornate church.

This is a very interesting church, with some beautiful architecture and decoration. If you enjoy visiting churches, it is well worth a visit.

I wandered in then went up the stairs and was shocked at the difference between the intimate lower section and opulent upper church. A novena was being said upstairs, so I didn’t explore as much as I would have liked and returned the next day.
