The building is very attractive from the outside... when walking down to the small entry you might remember your eventual visit to the "valley of kings graves" close to Luxor. Very friendly staff caring for their customers. Many nice artefacts beautifuly presented. Modern and interactive....More

Egyptian Art Museum probably has more artifacts than in Egypt. Yes, I have been to world's top museums including New York Metro, Lourve and they only have a section of Egyptian arts. Here in Germany, it is highly specialized and you have many separate museums...More

A particular place for Egyptian decor of world class artifacts that shows the richness of its past glory and magical history.

The collection is limited, but beautifully displayed and woth a visit. It suffers from not being exhibited in chronological order. A specific dynasty is represented in several places.

I don't think this museum gets the attention it deserves. It is a wonderful collection of all things Egyptian in a new building. We were there 3 hours and that was not nearly enough. Easy to get to by tram.

If you love art and history, and especially if you're into Egyptian art then this museum is a must. You can either visit with an audio-guide or on your own. Personally I prefer going at my own pace, and read all the information which they...More
