The tour guide was very knowledgeable and helped the group understand what it was like to be in this camp and how the prisoners were treated. The tour was quite lengthy and involved a lot of walking over stony ground, but well worth the experience.

Let's start with the really bad. The tour guide had a quiet voice. When you're addressing a group of approximately twenty people and having to compete with the noise created by people in the vicinity and traffic, you need to speak up so people can...More

My husband and I took the Dachau tour yesterday afternoon, and we found it so moving. We were supposed to just go to Dachau by ourselves, but decided to get a guided tour instead, and we were not disappointed. There is so much to learn...More

I spent a very enjoyable two hours with local guide Corey and two other visitors on a Food Walking Tour through Munich's Historic District and the Victualienmarkt. It was best described as a progressive lunch. Corey grew up in Munich and had plenty of local...More

Dachau was a very intense and moving experience. The way the area is kept is absolutely amazing. This particular tour was great because we were able to get through most of the compound in about 3 hours. The only downside to this tour is that...More

We felt as if our tour guide was talking in riddles, and she had to keep asking us “do you get it?” Bummer of a tour. Although our guide appeared to be passionate and knowledgeable, we continuously had to ask each other what was going...More

There is currently a free walking tour from the Wombat Hostel that is donation based. About 3 hours long, touches a lot of the highlights near the city center. Highly recommended.
