Tricky to find. It isn't clear about how to get in or find your way around the museum. Staff wernt approachable or entirely friendly. The guy that served us did speak English. Not disability friendly, lots of steps n steep staircases. Lots of the signs...More

You just walk thru an old building with beer steins in cases. I wasn't even sure if I was on the right place when I walked in. There's no clear place to start & go thru the museum. I kept opening doors to an external...More

Located a short walk from Marienplatz, this looks a little nondescript from the outside and probably isn’t somewhere that you’d just stumble across by accident. It’s something of a rabbit warren inside, with a whole host of small interconnecting rooms being spread across several floors....More

The museum is situated in a very narrow street near Marienplatz. Museum is in a renovated old town house . Interesting structure, many rooms to visit in general good explanations in English. Try the sample beers at the end of your visit well worth it.

Went to the museum with high expectations but left a little disappointed. Apart from a few beer steins and posters there is not too much to see. The only high point is having a beer in the original bar. Don’t bother with the museum and...More

The museum is set in an old building with a pub at the bottom. The exhibits are fairly old, dry and don’t updated seem to have been updated for at least 10 years. Most of the descriptions haven’t been translated into English. The pub only...More

Here, in the upper stories of this quite small building, just above a bar/ restaurant, they tell the story of Munich's Oktoberfest. To be honest it's a little on the dry side, but if you're interested in the details, there are some good historical photos....More

As the name implies, Museum Stubl is in an authentic looking, but surely rebuilt, 18th century Bavarian pub. Bench seating, great menu choices. If you are looking for a Munich experience, this one is affordable and the staff speak English. No credit cards though. Slightly...More

I was quite excited to see the museum to find an endless collection of beer glasses and pictures of the Oktoberfest. The educational value is zero and the visit was rather boring. Apparently the museum is located in the oldest house of Munich! So that’s...More
