A ball, constantly rolled by the water pressure of the fountain below it. Stops in winter due to lack of water. Restarts in the spring. Wow. :)

C'mon...this can't be a thing to do.It's the simplest fountain that I've ever seen...just a big stone ball.Placed in the main square of the town,the place of the Christmas market.

The Kugelbrunn does not belong on a list of things to see. It is a polished stone ball sitting on a water source. It is certainly not even worth a one minute detour. Yawn!

Located in front of Sparkasse bank and right opposite to Hugenottenkirche (center of the town). It might be bit bored to visit a ballon fountain only, do come and experience festive atmosphere this moment...there is a small train-ride ring for kids to celebrate the Christmas...More

Erlangen generally is a nice town to visit. This particular feature is perfectly pleasant but you will not have missed much if you don't see it.
