If you ever get to Obersalzburg the Hotel Zum Turken is a MUST visit. For $3 Euros we were allowed to tour Hitler, Goerring, and Martin Bormann's bunkers. It was a very interesting piece of history that takes awhile to go through. I definately recommend....More

These bunkers are attached to and managed by the Hotel Zum Türken. They have been left virtually untouched since the end of World War 2 and that is the way it should be. Walking through the tunnels you get a real sense of what it...More

Very interesting remains of underground bunkers under the former Reichs Sicherheits Dienst which were directly connected to Hitler's and Eva Braun's bunker under the Berghof. Also the book (Inside Hitler's Mountain) which is sold in Hotel zum Turken's shop is very interesting. Friendly owner of...More

We took this in as part of our visit to the Berghof ruins and the documentation centre. It was fascinating to see the underground complex, more or less as it remained after the war. There was also a sense of ‘having been there’ which was...More

Although it was closed for refurbishment when we visited the area, it was still very impressive to see especially given thew history of the region. I'll be going back when the tunnels are open again as they are a must see.

While visiting in this region I was informed these bunkers will be closed indefinitely due to pressure from the government to close. I was told the government is concerned the site will attract “the wrong kind of people.” I’m not sure how visiting this site...More

This was not the largest exhibition I've ever seen on WWII memorabilia, but it probably was the most authentic. It was amazing seeing the bunkers, and it gave one a chill at the true horrors of that era. Thankful that this is in the past...More

Cost 7 Euros for 2 adults and 2 kids to go in and see the bunkers, fascinating to explore. We were the only ones in there. Guy on reception was very helpful and gave us directions to the Berghof. Absolutely worth a visit.
