Very nice (huge) restaurant (not exactly an attraction expect maybe for the museum part) with food and local beers. Innovative, rich and interesting new beer creations can be tasted. Service is fast & friendly. Overall a very nice experience also for families.
First class experience, the brewery tour is of a old brewery left intact when the adjacent new brewery was built. Steam engines and generator still in place. The catacombs (cellar vauits) are at the other end of the new brewery and well worth a visit...More
Probably one of the top Beer tours in this part of Germany. The museum is in-depth, super detailed and well done. One of the largest beer stein and glass collections in Germany, with over 5000. Excellent tour as well as beer tasting at the end....More
This tour of the old Maisel's brewery is first-rate, culminating in a bottle of Weissbier around a large table in the Schänke - bar. The information regarding the lifestyles during the golden age of the building are extremely revealing.
This facility is currently being renovated. Based on conceptual designs displayed, this could very well be worse than it is now. Some architect beer hipster that spent too much time in the USA appears to have sold them a bill of goods.
