How can you visit Bayreuth without a visit at Maisel’s Brauerei and see how they made the 🍻 from the beginning to the end. You can see the beautiful collection of glass beer.

The extent of the museum is good and I especially liked the fact that the old machinery were often left as exhibit. The guided tour was ok'ish, a bit too rushed to my taste. In many rooms, I would've liked to spend more time looking...More

Very nice (huge) restaurant (not exactly an attraction expect maybe for the museum part) with food and local beers. Innovative, rich and interesting new beer creations can be tasted. Service is fast & friendly. Overall a very nice experience also for families.

Maisel Museum was totally impressive, the collections of beer glasses inside was breathtaking, the bar was the best part of the trip for us... It was like time travel! Lovely

The tour to the underground and the brewery was okay. Different guides and different personalities with different sense of humour. There was only sort of one free beer at the end of the tour.

Probably one of the top Beer tours in this part of Germany. The museum is in-depth, super detailed and well done. One of the largest beer stein and glass collections in Germany, with over 5000. Excellent tour as well as beer tasting at the end....More

This tour of the old Maisel's brewery is first-rate, culminating in a bottle of Weissbier around a large table in the Schänke - bar. The information regarding the lifestyles during the golden age of the building are extremely revealing.

This facility is currently being renovated. Based on conceptual designs displayed, this could very well be worse than it is now. Some architect beer hipster that spent too much time in the USA appears to have sold them a bill of goods. Now on to...More
