Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Schwörhaus in Ulm was erected at the beginning of the 17th century for the imperial city. It was destroyed and rebuilt several times, and it is now used by the Ulm City Archives as the House of Ulm City History ("Haus der Stadtgeschichte").
The exhibition shows the most important events and topics of the history of Ulm from its beginnings to the present. There are exhibits, models, large-scale prints and interactive media installations.
The small museum is very well organized, but information in English are limited.
Entrance is free.

I saw this bilding twicw today and I must say that I liked the night view more than the view at daylight. It could be a good idea to make a walk at nighttime.

Built in 17th century it was damaged and rebuilt twice. The Oath house nowadays houses city archives.
Every year, on “Oath Monday” which falls on the penultimate Monday in July, the Lord Mayor of Ulm delivers a speech on the past year from the balcony and renews the historical oath on the town’s constitution from 1397.

Towards the end of our stroll through the Fishermen's quarter we walked by the Oath House (Schwörhaus). This is a special purpose building in Ulm (1612-1618). This houses the City History Museum & Ulm City Archive with a historical city exhibition and reading room. Every year, on Oath Monday (Schwörmontag), an official Ulm holiday, the Mayor of the City of Ulm appears on the balcony of the Oath House, delivers a 1 hour speech on the past year's accomplishments from the balcony. Then he/she promises unconditionally to serve rich and poor equally in all equal, common and honest dealings. Then a sort of carnivalesque river procession takes place on the Danube. Since we where there in late Sep we didn't get to see this event, but are sure that it still occurs. Allow about 15 min for a visit.

Very impressive grand & imposing building that stands on the site of a former high tower of the royal palace.
The loggia on the first floor is used by the Mayor for his annual oath swearing to care for the city of Ulm.
