This is a lovely square in central Toulon designed by the famous urban planner Baron Haussmann, who later radically transformed Paris. This square is large and has a nice fountain. A good place to explore when in Toulon.

An interesting spot to take a rest in when you have been exploring in the central area. Watching the beautiful fountain seems to cool you down!

The fountain itself merits a quick visit but I managed to stop during the Music Festival and was serenaded for an hour or so. Above the pedestrian area.

While strolling we passed by this square. Very big but not well used neither crowded. No entertainment around and even restaurants are very little. So we were guided to the port for dinner because there lies the big selection of restaurants.

Unless you are into its history this just a nice square. No where really to sit. We wandered to it through supposed shopping streets. I didnt find much in the shopping line .

A very large and amazing fountain sits smack dab in the heart of this square in Toulon, large and very detailed.

We walked through this place on our walking tour of the local sites of Toulon. We thought it was a beautiful square as our city does not have anything really like it.

Very nice setting although quiet when I was there can imagine the square is bust with stalls during the season, take a camera to catch this place and surroundings

if you visit Toulon you would want to see this. this is in the middle of the arts center of Toulon. There are many roads leading of it to different points of interest.
