I went shopping with local friends. I had high expectations but forgot that products were not in season. Not the cleanest place!

We spent the morning here while our cruise ship was docked in Toulon. Cours Lafayette is a short walk from the pier, and is the site of a lovely outdoor market, which runs for several blocks along this nicely paved, wide, shady boulevard. It is...More

Decent walking market with mostly produce. I'm not sure it would be worth a visit on non-market days.

Grimy like the rest of the town: speckled sidewalks smelling of urine and insecticide. You also risk to be smashed by a car EVERY DAY because, in Toulon, drivers do not respect traffic signs. People, in general, are impolite and don't seem to care about...More

Really enjoyed seeing what the local produce was like. Mostly food related items at the market and by 1-2pm stalls start packing up to close. There was a really affordable section of fabrics, with tablecloths and napkins which made for great home additions.

Walkway lined with a farmers market and brick and mortar shops and restaurants. Definitely worth visiting. Fruits & veggies looked awesome.

Vegetables, cheese, fruits, herbs, coffees, teas and everybody is charming in an multicultural and colourful environment!!! It deserves a visit truly. The street ends up in the Port. Very nice indeed.

This market runs every morning (except Monday) from 7.30am to 12.30p.m, at which point it is replaced with a market for clothing, leather goods, CDs, phone cases, and such. The morning food and flower market stretches onto two streets: Cours Lafayette and Rue Paul Lendrin...More

We self toured Toulon, which we found to be not one of the more inspiring or interesting cities in Provence. However, the market at Cours Lafayette was fun to wander through. The market stretches for many blocks from very close to the harbor, with vendors...More
