This museum is very well put together, with good, meaningful information that does not overwhelm. They tell the story very well, and you can immerse yourself in the videos of first-person accounts if you like, or pass them up and still get the "meat" of...More

Educational and impressive story, particulary of the liberation of Provance in 1944. Interesting films, and many stories new to us. Nice view of Toulon from the entrance.

Nice renewed museum with clever use of audiovisuals and on an excellent location, overlooking Toulon and its harbour. Certainly go on the terrace to see the views, spend enough time listening to the tapes and enjoying the educational videos. Interesting collection of war stuff. Good...More

We were impressed by the exhibiton. Lot of uniforms, ammo, army equipments and a film brought back us to the time of the II. World War. This exhibition reminds us those who sacrificed themselves and how fragile is the peace.

It's being rebuilt. You can't access it. Mount Faron still worth going up. Is that 100 characters now?

Great museum and well worth a visit even if you aren't into militaria. The information on the Allied landings in the South of France is fascinating

I bought a combined ticket for this museum with a two-way ticket for the telepherique. The museum is quite small and brings some interesting information on the landing in Provence (especially maps with the strategies and paths used). However, the place is quite old.
