Toulon's opera house is one of the most beautiful buildings in the city. It has a long history and a special standing in France. Unfortunately the facade is not in a very good condition. It is also not open to the public for guided tours.

Exciting to see this beautiful Opera house even if it was only from the outside. I wish I could have seen inside. It was the perfect backdrop for a few pictures though.

A beautiful, original 19th century opera-house, designed by Garnier who later designed the famous Opera Garnier in Paris. Absolutely necessary to book for operas and some concerts. Friendly staff and good facilities for the disabled. Pleasant surroundings.

The Opera Toulon is the most beautiful Opera House, I attended a production of Stephen Sondheim's FOLLIES and the quality of the production was first class. Any theatre lover will relish an evening in this jewel of a venue, quite beautiful.
