This museum apparently is the largest collection of French uniforms through the ages and extremely well set out. It is big and you should allow yourself time. There is history for everyone, the life-sized exhibits make it lifelike and there is lots to learn and...More

Castle is pretty much ruined and now turned into a military museum. Catherine de Medici once visited to consult Nostradamus.

The castle is very interesting outside. There is a military museum inside, but if you do not want to go in, you can climb on the terrace, which opens a wonderful panorama of the city.

This museum has a very impressive collection of old fire arms and uniforms, particularly around Napoleon. You do not get to appreciate much of the chateau though which is a pity. Definitely worth a visit.

A lovely place to visit for a few hours. There are many displays with lots of armoury. I liked the garden as there are fabulous views across the town.

A very complete collection of uniforms, weapons such as rifles, swords nicely illustrated with maps and other original documents. A must see!
