If you are interested in the history of the village, you can visit this museum, It is divided in rooms which all have painted scenes as well as decor and each room describes a part of the history. The old dresses are very interesting to look at and you can see that they have been made with a lot of care. The only thing is that there are a lot of stairs involved as the rooms are on different levels and have to go up and down stairs to view the next room. The explanation is in French, but at the reception we were given a translation in English for each room which was really good as we could understand better. With the entry ticket of 4 euro for adults and 3 euros per child you can also visit 'La Chapelle des Penitents Blancs' which is lovely.…

Local History Museum is the museum of St-Paul-de-Vence, where it is explained the history of the town with significant scenes. Every room is a very important fact in the history of the city. The Museum is normal, if you like to learn about the towns you visit, it is very good. Moreover, if you want to visit "La Chapelle des Penitents Blancs" (essential! see this attraction!), you have to buy a ticket for the museum.…

It was interesting I can't deny it but it all felt a bit forced and stiff. As a lover of fashion I was very interested in the old fashioned clothes. Astonished at the handiwork that had gone into making such beautiful creations. The fabrics etc were a delight to look at. Could do with a little something to keep non fashion lovers entertained as my husband was extremely bored very quickly. Plus it was a hot stuffy day which didn't help.…

A walk throughout the past with King Francois I, Queen Jeanne, and other historical figures in costumes of their day. The clothing is what makes this museum. To experience he weight of the fabrics and the restrictive designs from our 21 St Century approach is amazing. As museum goers pass in shorts, T shirts and tennis shoes, you wonder how could I live wearing that! Displayed are books, guns, swords, cannon, hats and views of how the city would have looked at the time.…
