I was lucky to walk up to this church and find it open. The caretakers had just arrived. This is a real gem! The ceiling is so beautiful. Eight pieces of art are registered in the national art registry.

If you are east of Nice (and Monaco) you should definitely visit the village of Roquebrune. The fort is not too a steep climb and you are rewarded with a stunning view. Then take a walk around the village. A true village of French charm.
