Visited for half a day. Lovely place to walk round. Took a 30 minute boat trip to have a look around. There was a street market (Thursday). Well worth a visit.

What a beautiful little area! Lovely to wander round looking in shops and seeing the boats. We stayed close by and liked to wander for an hour in the mornings

We went to Port Grimaud to have a stroll and dinner one evening and were pleasantly surprised by the small town with all its narrow streets and canals. If you are looking for a smaller scale Venice in France, don't go - in my opinion...More

Port Grimaud is a purpose built copy of Venice constructed in the late 1960's. It is a lovely construction with menu waterways, alleyways & charming quaysides. The port is extremely affluent it can be expensive to dine out. There are tours & ferries at reasonable rates....More

Albeit a supposed copy of Venice, Port Grimaud does not have much of an atmosphere. It is pleasant to walk around and look at the houses and boats and see how the other half live, but other than a boat trip looking at the houses,...More

We were told this is the Venice of France. Well, not even close to the Venice of Italy. It does not have history, newer buildings, and it appears to be an area for vacation places and people with boats. So, we were disappointed because we...More

Beautiful little port town resembling Venice with its bridges and canals. Very clean and beautiful yachts moored around. The view from the tower over the port is definitely recommended

Port Grimaud is a simply wonderful destination for a holiday and especially suitable for anyone who has an interest in boats. Virtually all of the holiday apartments overlook a winding waterway that runs throughout the town in a way that is simply enchanting. Each of...More

Interesting little planned village with canals, bridges and lots of boats, somewhat patterned after the canals of Venice. Unlike Venice though, this planned community has roads and parking for cars but only for the locals. Well worth a visit to see some interesting things if...More

Buses are slow as the traffic is awful. The trains avoid this. However, there's a need to move by bus from saint Raphael to Port Grimaud, regardless of intended destination.
