Well, for me to give this museum a 5* rating is amazing. I usually enjoy works no later than the 16th century, but Chagall did so many paintings with prominent stories from the Bible that were amazing. With your entrance fee, you get an audio....More

It was interesting, just long enough, with a fun store at the end and great terrace for a coffee. WE went during the morning hours and it was not busy..

The Musee Chagall is outstanding: Abraham and the Three Angels, The Sacrifice of Isaac,The Creation, Driven from Paradise, and Chagall’s The great mosaic are on display. The audio guide, which is included with the admission price, is excellent.

Before seeing the paintings, watch the movie about this artist. You will understand the ideas behind his art better and it will help you to appreciate Chagall's works at its most. I wish there were works he created earlier.

This museum is out of town so we got there by Uber from our hotel. A large purpose built space to display much of his Biblical art, relatively peaceful first thing in the morning. The highlights for me were the stained glass in the concert...More

I have never heard of a Chagall-painted ostrich egg which doesn't mean it's inauthentic. The best thing is to have it appraised at your local auction house wherever you live in the world.
