Apparently, the Tsar had the church built for the Russians who lived or vacationed in Nice during the winter months. The exterior structure is beautiful and clearly shows the Russian influence. The inside is also well worth seeing, and many visitors will agree with that;...More

A MUST see when visiting Nice. This cathedral will make you gasp when you first see it.It is tucked away from the main road so it is a little difficult to locate but it is well worth finding!!

To visit this beautiful Orthodox Cathedral, it’s best to have shoulders and head covered for women (you can borrow a scarf from a basket by the entrance). It’s very beautiful both inside and outside. To visit during the service is a lovely experience. You can...More

I love the traditional Russian architecture that you would normally find in St. Petersburg or Moscow. Gorgeous in its detail. The inside to is a peaceful and beautiful sanctuary. It is hidden in the skyline and a short walk from the train station.

The cathedral is striking from the outside, and even more so inside. You forget that you are in Nice and instead feel like you have traveled to Russia at lightning speed. It has a strong spiritual atmosphere and seems to be a central gathering place...More

We visited this historic church from the Hop-on, Hop-off bus. Beautiful architecture inside and out. Not a huge church, but very nice and worth the time to visit. They ask men to remove hats and provide cover-ups for women. No picture taking allowed inside. No...More

I have seen many people in a wheel chair around this area so I would say yes it is possible. Be aware of busier times for crowded space throughout the flower market on the earlier part of the day.
