Beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea along the coastline. A beautiful place to go for a walk or to sit and watch the world go by. Numerous benches, chairs and shaded areas. Well kept area that was very clean. Would highly recommend stopping here for...More

A walk along the Mediterranean with my wife was lovely. The pebble shoreside was marvelous. One depressing thing was the reek where people had relieved themselves and dropped their alcohol bottles and cans.

Walked down to the beach from our apartment, dropped our towels and got into the Med, it’s a simple as that. However, it’s a pebble beach and I’d recommend you have some ‘jelly bean’ type footwear as it can be quite harsh on your feet....More

The main avenue and walkway along the beach. It is always crowded. As I sit here at 7AM and look down on the Promenade, people are jogging, biking and claiming their spot on the sand.

We have lived in Nice for 34 years now and love the Promenade - there’s always something happening. Love this city

We would have preferred a less commercial walk along the beach but it is a city. We were looking for something lower key since we live in the New York metro area. But great views.

After a sunny day and a fine dinner in the old town it is a pleasure to take a walk on the long promenade. You can see the fine builbings and listen to the sea waves.

The pictures of the beach along the Promenade des Anglais look great - but you cannot see the pebbles. We gave up trying to swim in the sea. OK if you have snorkelling shoes.

The Nice promenade is amazing. It’s so fun strolling past all the beautiful hotels and restaurants. Try and stay close to it if you are in Nice.

Be careful of all those who use new gizmos to flash by, mono cycles, mono wheels, skate boards, skates and more besides. Otherwise it's a delight to look out to see and see the various water sports that are available.
