Base nature used to be a naval base, thus it is huge. Now, it is a protected zone opened to public, where you can walk, bike, eat, swim, skate, play basket/football/rugby and so on. There are numerous facilities. It has a big car park, which...More

We went here for the beach, which was really nice with good sand and good facilities. My son, aged 6, really enjoyed playing on the beach and swimming in the sea here. There is loads of parking and you pay just 2-3 euro for a...More

Paid 4 euros for an all day parking pass across the road which is really good value for money. The beach is real sand instead of shall or shingle. We pitched up with our towels and had a lovely morning paddling in the shallow waters...More

There is a large car park close to the beach which is ideal for parking. The beach is sandy and I've never had a bad experience here. We also come to this beach to watch the fireworks and it is conveniently located for access to...More

Loved this beach. Tons of parking. As at July 2015 you could either pay for a morning, afternoon or all day parking ticket. All day was 4euros which didn't seem excessive for South of France. Beach clean, shallow water. We sat near the disabled access...More

Not knowing the area and where there was parking, or which beaches were private and which public this was a great find. Easy parking, nice clean and sandy beach, toilets nearby. The only downside was that there was nowhere open to buy snacks when we...More

If you are going to the actual beach, I would take or buy a cheap beach umbrella, available locally. The sun there can be very strong. Shade in the Restaurant dela Piscine obviously and some tree's.
