Visits to this historic factory thread their way through the perfumer’s laboratory, with its perfume organ, the distillery, the maceration and filtering studios, the enfleurage rooms, and the artisanal packaging and soapmaking workshops. The museum's collection features bottles and perfume memorabilia from ancient times and all the way up to the present day. Clay perfume flasks, khol vases, scent holders, salve jars, pomanders, bergamotes, and travel kits trace 3,000 years of history.

A visit to Grasse would appear to be incomplete without a visit to the Fragonard factory. It benefits from being very central and a short walk from most of the town centre car parks. We enjoyed the tour very much, it was informative and entertaining...More

We visited on our own. We did not do a tour package. Grasse is very doable without a tour guide. There are lovely little shops and even places to make your own perfume within the city and walking distance from the museum.
