Visits to this historic factory thread their way through the perfumer’s laboratory, with its perfume organ, the distillery, the maceration and filtering studios, the enfleurage rooms, and the artisanal packaging and soapmaking workshops. The museum's collection features bottles and perfume memorabilia from ancient times and all the way up to the present day. Clay perfume flasks, khol vases, scent holders, salve jars, pomanders, bergamotes, and travel kits trace 3,000 years of history.

It’s almost obligatory to visit the parfumerie on a trip to grasse but it’s a beautifully curated journey through its history and production methods. If there were Oscars for gift shops, Fragonard would be in the running. It’s stunning.

A must do in Grasse- free entry and a nice tour showing you how perfumes are made. This was our second visit and unfortunately it has become a lot more commercial. Understandable but a pity. A lovely visit in any case

My daughter and I decided to come to Parfumerie Fragonard as some rare special one on one time. We were both interested in the making of perfume and she wanted to choose her first scent. The tour itself was interesting and the lady showing us...More

A museum and shop that are worth the visit and shopping. Very correct prices. Historic collection is nicely presented.

A visit to the Fragonard museum helps to understand the old methods of creating perfume. It also features beautiful Provençal furniture and a great collection of perfume bottles and artefacts. But the boutique is geared to attract large crowds of tourists and sell them cheap...More

Dear Madam, First of all we thank you for sharing your feedback after your recent visit of our Perfume Factory. The free guided tour you have experienced lasts around 30 minutes and is followed by an olfactive discovery of Fragonard’s creations, displaying more than 90...More

Fragonard perfumery is absolute gem. The building is so attractive set up in the hills in the centre of the small town of Grasse. The factory tour allows you to wait for the correct language tour guide so you thoroughly enjoy and understand the process...More

This place is completely free so you don’t need to pay for entrance or for the guided tour. The tours are possible in a lot of languages. You also get a degustation at the end!

A location you must check out if you reach this town. The tour is free, the factory is really small - also we were lucky to get a free English tour, as all of the museum explanations and inscriptions were in French :) The perfumes...More

We visited Fragonard as part of our group tour/excursion. The tour is not bad but a little long. I did learn about how perfume is made and the millions of flowers that go I to perfume making. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and she...More

We visited on our own. We did not do a tour package. Grasse is very doable without a tour guide. There are lovely little shops and even places to make your own perfume within the city and walking distance from the museum.
