A beautiful island, with some secluded and beautiful views for picnic spots. The fort is larger than expected so leave some to time to wander around it. I left half an hour and it wasn't enough. Be aware that the last ferry leaves always a...More

While the boat ride over to the island is beautiful and brief, that was probably the best part of Ile Marguerite. The island is not flat and thus not good for strollers and to squash any rumors there are no sandy beaches here. Yes there...More

Beautiful oasis waiting to be explored. Worth visiting and not expensive for this experience. You should take some food and water with you, you could even think at a picnic.

I went here as I heard that the castle on the island is where “The Man with the Iron Mask” was held. I walked the whole circuit of the island and explore the museum and castle. It’s well worth a visit if you want to...More

Rent a boat, it takes about 15 min. To arrive to, relaxing, quiet, nice water, just get special water shoes, the rocks are razor sharp!

Amazing, simply amazing. Gorgeous inlets for swimming, picnicking, relaxing. Peaceful smooth trails for walking amidst the smell of eucalyptus and pine. Museum where the Man with the Iron Mask was imprisoned. Etc. A peaceful respite from busy Cannes. There is a nice small restaurant near...More

We fitted a trip to the island in after brunch before having to get back for spa treatments at our hotel - and that was enough time to be able to explore, relax and have something to eat. The island offers some of the most...More

Took the scenic tour to the island, walked through and around the island, fantastic day that ended in the great resturant on the island - La Guerite.

There is no accommodation that I have seen. The island is quite small and is mainly covered in woodland with lots of sandy dirt paths criss-crossing the place. There is the remains of an old fort and one or two little... More
