There is not an alley, road or building that is not picture perfect. Everywhere you look you see postcard beautiful buildings, flowers and vines. It is just so lovely and quaint and visually perfect. It felt peaceful and a step back in time. Took over...More

This is a pretty old town area of Cagnes, with steep narrow roads leading to the Chateau at the top (which now houses a museum). This is worth a walk if you are in the area, but there are much more picturesque hilltop villages in...More

Beautiful place, very quiet, quaint cobbled streets leading into one another by way of steps, Amazing buildings, couldnt stop taking photos. Best city break we have taken in all 46 years of marriage.

A nice walk between old stonehouses up the the top of Cagnes-sur Mer. You can see plaques where artists lived for a while in Cagnes de Haut, Matisse for instance. The view is great to the mountains around the city.

This is an unsung gem in the Riviera; very much like Eze and St Paul de Vence, which are over visited and super crowded in the summer. It is an unspoiled village, full of small alleyways and pedestrian streets, a few galleries and artist studios....More

Stumbled upon the Internet for things to see around Nice and Haut de Cagnes was such a lovely distraction from the beach, pebbled streets, beautiful homes and such a quaint Castle not forgetting the free Navette to the top and back, instead we chose to...More

Not quite Eze or Carcassonne but still a lovely place and well worth the visit. The walk up the hill is not easy, but there’s a free bus for those not wanting to be too energetic. This is a fascinating place with some stunning views....More

The No 44 free shuttle bus runs up to the village every 15 mins from the town centre at Square Bourdet (central bus station). Search "Square Bourdet" in google maps. The bus will go from the stop at Allée des Platanes side.
